Why Choose Our DEF 32% Urea Solution? Same Quality, Lower Price2025-06-06T15:06:19+00:00

When it comes to maintaining the performance of your commercial vehicle and ensuring compliance with emissions standards, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a vital component. Many fleet operators rely on well-known branded DEF solutions for their quality and performance. However, there is an equally effective alternative: Gary Lodge DEF 32% Urea Solution. Our product offers the same high-quality DEF characteristics, but at a significantly more affordable price.

Identical Quality and Performance

Gary Lodge DEF 32% Urea Solution is manufactured to the same stringent standards as leading branded DEF products, ensuring it delivers outstanding performance in reducing harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines. Our DEF meets ISO 22241-1 specifications, guaranteeing that it is the perfect match for your vehicle’s SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system.

Just like the major brands, our DEF contains 32.5% high-purity urea mixed with deionized water. This precise blend is designed to maintain your engine’s efficiency while helping you meet Euro 6 emissions standards. By choosing Gary Lodge DEF, you can rest assured that your vehicle will continue to run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental regulations.

Why Gary Lodge DEF is More Affordable

The primary reason Gary Lodge DEF 32% Urea Solution is priced lower than branded alternatives is that we do not incur the significant costs of branding, advertising, and marketing. While other products may be widely recognised, much of the price you pay often goes toward supporting their marketing and brand recognition—not necessarily better performance.

At Gary Lodge DEF, we focus solely on delivering a top-quality product without the added cost of an extensive marketing campaign. Our DEF solution is identical in chemical composition and effectiveness to the best-known products on the market, but by removing the premium for the brand name, we are able to pass the savings directly on to you.

The Benefits of Choosing Gary Lodge DEF 32% Urea Solution

  • Cost-Effective: With Gary Lodge DEF, you’ll save money per litre, especially when buying in bulk. Over time, this adds up, reducing your overall fuel and maintenance costs.

  • Same High Quality: The chemical composition and performance of Gary Lodge DEF are equivalent to the most reputable branded products, ensuring optimal SCR system functionality and engine efficiency.

  • Environmental Compliance: Our DEF reduces NOx emissions, helping you meet Euro 6 emissions standards and contribute to cleaner air.

  • Convenient Delivery: We offer direct delivery to your location, ensuring you have reliable access to DEF when you need it.

  • Bulk Discounts: We provide competitive pricing for bulk purchases, making it even more cost-effective for large fleets and businesses.

What is DEF 32.5%?2025-06-06T15:08:13+00:00

Not using a branded trade name, DEF 32.5% is a colourless, clear fluid manufactured using high-quality granulated urea and demineralised water. The urea solution should not be confused with myths about its source—such as pigs’ urine. While it’s true that pig urine contains urea, it is neither of the purity nor the volume required to produce a high-quality DEF 32.5% solution. DEF 32.5% is a commonly recognised name for AUS 32 (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). This additive helps reduce harmful exhaust emissions and can also improve engine efficiency in all diesel vehicles and diesel-powered plant machinery, often delivering efficiency gains of between 2% and 6%. Its daily use in modern diesel engines is now considered standard practice.

Further Information

  • DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is the generic term commonly used in the United States.

  • ARLA32 (Agente Redutor Líquido de Óxido de Nitrogênio Automotivo) is used in South America.

  • AUS32 is the international term for all urea-based DEF solutions manufactured according to ISO 22241 standards.

DEF 32.5% or DEF is utilised by the Selective Catalytic Reduction system (SCR) in the exhaust as an NOx reduction agent. The ammonia in the urea along with the catalytic process within the SCR reacts and actively neutralised the NOx converting it to harmless Nitrogen (N2) and Water Vapour (H20).

DEF 32.5% is not categorised as Hazardous, however it is highly corrosive and should only be contained in suitable vessels which are listed as DEF 32.5% safe. DEF 32.5% is non-flammable, safe to handle and easy to store using the correct containment.

Why use DEF 32.5%?2022-04-26T17:21:01+00:00

The benefit of having your fleet in line with Euro 6 standards is that it decreases the negative environmental impact of your business and its transport operations. Gaining increased green implementations is good for not just nature but the way your business will be viewed long term.

It is now a legal requirement for all modern vehicles including passenger cars, vans, busses and HGV to proactively reduce harmful emissions, this is in line with the UK governments commitment to its net zero carbon reduction target by the year 2050.

What happens if we run out?2022-04-25T16:13:36+00:00

Engines that are built to utilise DEF 32.5% must be kept with a consistent supply of the fluid. Although operating a vehicle without DEF 32.5% may not cause direct damage it will affect its performance and will most definitely affect the engines emissions.

In some circumstances diesel vehicles with no DEF 32.5% may not start an if they do, the failed emissions test may result in a hefty fine and a certain MOT failure. Toping up the tank will restore performance and emissions values.

As a solution to not running out, we operate a scheduled delivery so as long as we know when your low we can arrange a new delivery for you.
